Destinations tab — catalog, POIs, voyages, formalities
Your offline cruising library: pre-planned routes, thousands of anchorages and harbours (Sea-Seek, ActiveCaptain), multi-leg passage itineraries, and country entry formalities — all searchable, filterable, and addable to your route.
Where to find it
Sidebar › Destinations (book icon). The tab splits into four sub-tabs shown at the top of the panel: Catalog, POI, Voyages, Formalities.

Catalog sub-tab
Catalog (cruising routes)
What it's for: Browse a catalog of pre-planned offshore cruising routes (based on Jimmy Cornell's World Cruising Routes), each offered in several variants (different departure/arrival). A seasonal scoring system tells you which routes are favourable for the current month.
How to use it: 1. Open Destinations › Catalog. 2. Narrow the list with the ocean-zone filters and the search field. 3. Tap a route to open its detail sheet (variants, distances, charts, guides). 4. In the sheet, select the variant you want; it is drawn on the map. 5. Optionally, launch the AI navigation agent for a contextual recommendation.
Options & settings:

| Search field | Filters by route ID, name, departure or arrival port. |
| Ask the agent (robot) | Opens the AI navigation agent, passing it your current search. |
| Distance sort (ruler) | Sorts routes by descending maximum distance. |
| Variants sort (branch) | Sorts by descending number of variants. |
Inside a route detail sheet: active-variant selection, Show all toggle (draws every variant on the map at once), nautical chart references (BA = British Admiralty, US = NOAA), recommended guides, and a POIs along route list (Sea-Seek / ActiveCaptain within 30 nm).
Tips & limits: - Scoring and the "best month" filter depend on the month selected in the app (navigation bar). - The score factors in the active polar; pick your boat first for a meaningful rating. - Selecting a variant draws it on the map but does not yet create an editable route; use the route planner afterwards.
POI sub-tab
The POI sub-tab offers three views, chosen with the buttons at the top of the panel: Countries, Sea-Seek, and AC (ActiveCaptain). Each button shows how many entries are available.
Countries (country sheets)
What it's for: Read an encyclopedic sheet per destination/country: introduction, country profile, climate, formalities, facilities, charter, plus practical info (currency, local time, electricity, buoyage, IDD, emergency numbers).
How to use it: 1. In POI, select the Countries view. 2. Filter by ocean region (chips) and/or type a name in the search. 3. Tap a sheet to open it. 4. Expand the sections you want (Introduction, Climate, Formalities…). 5. Tap a port of entry to centre the map on it, or the + to add it to your route.

Sea-Seek (maritime POI catalog)
What it's for: Explore 9,600+ points of interest from the Sea-Seek guides (harbours, marinas, anchorages, dive sites, hazards, misc POIs), organised by ocean zone then by regional guide. An AI semantic search lets you ask questions in plain language.
How to use it: 1. In POI, select the Sea-Seek view. 2. Pick an ocean zone, then narrow by regional guide. 3. Filter by type (harbour, marina, anchorage, diving, POI) and choose a sort. 4. Type a keyword, or ask a question in plain language (e.g. "phone number of Porto Trani?"): the AI answers and cites its sources. 5. Tap a POI to open its sheet; tap the navigation icon to centre the map on it.
Options & settings:

Sea-Seek POI detail sheet: breadcrumb (zone › guide › place), coordinates, source guide; buttons Fly to (centres the map), Add to route (except hazards), and Enrich with AI; display of VHF frequencies (harbours and marinas), the anchorage protection panel (wind rose) for anchorages, photos extracted from the guide (tap for full-screen), the bilingual description with on-demand translation, and nearby POIs from the same guide. POIs you created yourself carry a Custom badge and can be deleted.
AC — ActiveCaptain
What it's for: Browse the community ActiveCaptain database (marinas, anchorages, hazards, businesses, boat ramps, inlets, bridges, locks, ferries, dams) with user ratings, organised by geographic region.
How to use it: 1. In POI, select the AC view. 2. Filter by geographic region, then by type. 3. Type a keyword and choose a sort. 4. Tap a POI for its sheet; tap the navigation icon to centre the map on it.
Options & settings:

AI enrichment of POIs
What it's for: Augment a POI sheet (Sea-Seek or ActiveCaptain) with AI-generated text and, in parallel, images found on the web.
How to use it: 1. Open a POI's sheet. 2. Tap Enrich with AI (sparkle). 3. The text streams in; web images appear below. 4. Tap the cross to clear the enrichment if needed.
Tips & limits: - A disclaimer reminds you the text is AI-generated (guide data + general knowledge): verify critical info on site. - Enrichment and semantic questions require the AI engine to be available; otherwise the app shows the closest matches instead.
Create a custom POI
What it's for: Add your own point (a spotted anchorage, harbour, marina, dive site, POI) to the local Sea-Seek database.
How to use it: 1. On the map, open a point's context menu to launch Create a POI (coordinates are pre-filled). 2. Fill in the name (required), the type, the coordinates, and optionally FR/EN descriptions. 3. Tap Create; the POI appears in the Sea-Seek list (Custom badge) and the Sea-Seek overlay is turned on to show it.
Options & settings: - Name (required), Type (anchorage, harbour, marina, diving, POI), Coordinates (latitude / longitude), Description (FR), Description (EN). - Cancel / Create.
Tips & limits: Out-of-range coordinates (lat ±90, lng ±180) are rejected. Custom POIs can be AI-enriched like any other, and deleted from their sheet.
Voyages sub-tab
Voyages (multi-leg itineraries)
What it's for: Browse large, pre-defined cruising itineraries chaining several legs/stopovers: linear passages (A→B), circular loops (return to start), and circumnavigations (round-the-world).
How to use it: 1. Open Destinations › Voyages. 2. Filter by ocean and/or type; toggle \<month> to show only voyages recommended this month. 3. Search by name or route line. 4. Tap a voyage to open its sheet (legs, seasons, linked routes). 5. From the sheet, open a linked WCR route (jumps to the Catalog) or a destination.
Options & settings:

Voyage detail: leg-by-leg itinerary with distance (nm), estimated duration, seasonal window (good / marginal / cyclone risk), reference WCR route, and POIs along the way (30 nm radius).
Tips & limits: The "best month" filter follows the app's month. Legs marked optional can be skipped depending on your schedule.
Formalities sub-tab
Formalities (per-country clearance)
What it's for: Look up a country's entry formalities (check-in procedure, documents, fees, visa, restrictions, cruising permit, ports of entry, VHF channel) and tick off a pre-arrival checklist.
How to use it: 1. Open Destinations › Formalities. 2. Filter by region, search for a country, choose a sort. 3. Tap a country to open its sheet. 4. Tap a port of entry to centre the map on it, or the + to add it to the route. 5. Expand the sections (procedure, documents, fees…) and tick the pre-arrival checklist.
Options & settings:

Tips & limits: - A "last updated" date is shown per country; always verify official requirements before arrival — they change quickly. - Checklist progress is stored locally per country. - AI translation requires the AI engine to be available.
